Tree Planting exercise in a bid to make the world go green in line with rotary international mandate

Rotary club of Benin in line with rotary international appeal to sustain the environment in its greenery,the club embarked on the planting of about 1,150 seedlings of different species of trees including iroko,teak,obeche,acacia,walnut,black and white afara in the ogba zoological gardens and its highways and environs including of course the premises of the rotary park and gardens belonging to the club. The club was assisted by some staff of the city council in addition to some rotaractors in the tree planting exercise that lasted for about a month. The management of the ogba zoological gardens were most delighted and appreciative of the clubs gesture in choosing the location amongst other places to plant the species of trees.
