The Rotary Club of Benin donated Oxygen Concentrator Machine and Suction Machine to the Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin City, Edo State. The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Mrs Dr. (Mrs) Julie Erhabor received the equipments on behalf of the government and thanked the club for their humanitarian services. The District Governor of Rotary International District 9140, Rtn. Buchi Onuoha was present at the venue to give the presentation. An Oxygen Concentrator is a device providing oxygen therapy to a patient at minimally to substantially higher concentrations than available in ambient air. They are used as a safer, less expensive, and more convenient alternative to tanks of compressed oxygen. Suction machines are used to remove mucus and other bodily fluids from a patient. This will go a long way in preventing infant morality rate.
